Careyes is located 1 ¼ hours north of Manzanillo International Airport which is served by United, US Airways, and Alaska Airlines. Puerto Vallarta is 2 ½ hours north of Careyes and is served by most major airlines. From Puerto Vallarta it is possible to charter a small plane to the grass landing strip outside of Careyes. Map
